The 2nd edition of Inter Tourism & Trade Expo, Accra will be held in Ghana focusing on Trade, inbound and outbound travel to Africa and is expected to draw hundreds of tourism and travel professionals from all over the world. The Expo will take the format of a tourism and trade exhibition with a conference element focusing on topical tourism, sustainability, conservation and other market related issues. The exhibition will attract over 150+ international and local exhibitors as well as a number of local and international visitors, buyers and media from the world. The expo venue at World Trade Centre Accra is located in the Central Business District of Accra, Ghana. It is an exclusive venue which provides a great platform for hosting Inter Tourism Expo, Accra. Food & Culture Festival

The Inter tourism Expo food festival (iNTTA Food Festival) is coordinated to develop culinary tourism concept like other forms of tourism such as adventure tourism and pave the way for its sustainability and exploring and bringing to limelight the antique foods which are hidden as the Treasure Island and putting it as one of the masterpiece of Africa.

To trace the impact of culinary tourism in regional and local development and conservation of culinary traditions that is mingled with culture in Africa. Further portray the role of food in a tourists’ exploration of a destination which indirectly helps the tourist get along well with culture, rich heritage, traditions and inclinations of a particular region.

The festival aims to get more African meals on the UNESCO’s heritage list and for that matter Ghana. It will also gather cooks, seasoned chefs, restaurants and food vendors from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Kenya and Senegal attending the festival.

The festival lines up with the government’s efforts to valorize local cultural tourism, and boost the consumption of local products will see exhibitions of food packaging, presentation, preservation, local and international beverages, patisseries B2B sessions, masterclasses, and workshop. Festival goers will have a chance to enjoy a variety of dishes, drinks and entertainment, performances including live music concert.

A very important aspect of any culture is its dietary preferences and the rituals of preparation and the pleasure of preparing and sharing the food is still widely celebrated. The organizers feel it would be great to showcase Ghana diversity and unity on a culinary journey through the continent.
